Universal SEND Services – Neurodiversity CPD

Whole School SEND's Neurodiversity Awareness programme offers free, evidence-informed 'Train the Trainer' packages designed for school and college leaders, SENCOs, and inclusion teams. The resources enable settings to deliver their own high-quality neurodiversity training for leadership teams and teaching staff, with minimal preparation required. 

The packages are designed to be relevant, flexible and sustainable, allowing schools to tailor training to their context and deliver it over time as part of ongoing professional development. They include ready-made training slides, case studies, facilitator guidance, and modules covering topics such as executive function, intersectionality, adaptive teaching and independence. 

Available for Primary, Secondary and Further Education settings, the resources are fully funded by the DfE and accompanied by free webinars to support implementation. Schools can pre-register to access the packages and help demonstrate their impact through a simple evaluation process. 

This is an excellent free resource for schools looking to develop a more inclusive, neuro-affirming approach and strengthen staff understanding of neurodiversity.
