NPQ applications window closes soon – don’t miss your opportunity to develop your skills!

There is still time to apply for a National Professional Qualification (NPQ) this autumn, but with half term fast approaching, teaching and leadership staff are encouraged to secure their place as soon as possible. Generate Teaching Hub work with Best Practice Network and Teach First to deliver NPQs for teachers and school leaders across Halton, Warrington and Wigan, providing high-quality professional development designed to support career progression and school improvement.

For the Autumn 2026 cohort, several programmes continue to be fully funded, including the NPQ for Headship, NPQ for SENCOs, NPQ for Senior Leadership and the NPQ for Early Years Leadership (for eligible Early Years settings). A range of specialist and leadership NPQs are also available for aspiring and existing middle leaders, senior leaders and headteachers.
