The National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) and Maths Hubs have a range of free resources to support KS2 attainment as SATs approach.

Available now:

• Ready to Progress exemplification materials covering priority maths areas, suitable for whole-class use or individual pupil support, and accessible for teachers and teaching assistants to deliver
• A video guide showing how Mastering Number materials (open to all schools participating in Teaching for Mastery Work Groups) — originally designed for Years 4 and 5 — can be used effectively in Year 6, with links to SATs questions
• A podcast from Mobius Maths Hub on teaching maths in Year 6, covering how to address gaps, support secondary readiness, and ensure deep learning
