Climate Action Plans and Sustainability in Early Years Settings

8 Oct 26

Early years professionals are invited to join a free online workshop exploring Climate Action Plans (CAPs) and sustainability in early years education. Taking place on 15 October 2026 from 6.00pm to 7.30pm, the session will be led by Dr Diane Boyd, who will provide practical guidance on developing a Climate Action Plan, sourcing relevant information, and embedding sustainability within everyday practice.

This informative session will help practitioners understand how Climate Action Plans can support their setting's sustainability journey and how this work connects to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Whether you are a childminder, nursery practitioner, EYFS leader or Reception lead, the workshop offers an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, practical ideas and inspiration from an experienced leader in the field.

Delivered in collaboration between several North West Early Years Stronger Practice Hubs, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn alongside colleagues from across the region and take positive steps towards a more sustainable future for young children.

Places are free, but booking is essential.
