Turing NW Maths Hub have an exciting opportunity for excellent Reception Practitioners in Warrington

As a result of the Best Start in Life document from DFE all hubs are appointing a Reception Assistant Maths Hub Lead and Turing NW are building a team of outstanding Reception and EYFS practitioners. Turing NW have appointed Rachael Vincent as their Assistant Maths Hub Lead for Reception and they are now keen we get the right team of passionate and knowledgeable Reception Practitioners from Warrington to work alongside her.

The EYFS team will be involved in a three part offer:

Maths Hub 3 Part Offer


There are a number of options:


1) An EYFS teacher applies to be a Teaching For Mastery Specialist (closing date 23rd April) and they will then spend next year in training with a view to joining our targeted support team the year after where they can then work alongside the leaders of local schools to develop EYFS settings. 

Primary Mastery Specialist Programme


2) Apply to gain the PD or SD lead qualification this year (closing date 23rd April) and alongside this either:

a) lead one of the new SKTM programmes for Reception

b) join the targeted support team and use their expertise to develop leadership in EYFS as bespoke enhanced or Intensive support

Professional Development Lead Programme 

School Development Lead Programme 

These are all fully- funded and the candidates could do as little or as much with Turing NW as they have capacity for- from working with 1 school in targeted support and gaining SD lead accreditation (6 days across the year), leading an SKTM work group up to 8 days or if they have more capacity- they can work with several schools across the year- a huge new part of this offer is that all schools can get Intensive support for EYFS whilst still staying engaged with the main Teaching For Mastery WG.
